The ferry station on the Manhattan side.   The ferry itself is a major part of the experience.

Gray day.  Rain. Sun. Clouds.  Cooler.

Cloudy day. Then sun, now sun showers.

Changeable weather.  Busy harbor.  It's easy to forget that NYC has a very active harbor - passenger, freight, pleasure and fishing boats are not uncommon sights.  I love being on a spit of land in the river, able to observe.

Friday morning

Had very little time on Friday, but was determined to spend some time on the Island.  Low humidity, beautiful blue sky.  Worth the effort.
