Almost everything was collected on the Island. I became aware of how much
I had at home - meaning I've been collecting for a long time.
I found an amazing selection of leaves and feathers.
Insects. Leaves. Mushrooms. Photos with 'stuff'.
The items in the box are water chestnut seed pods. Otherwise known as caltrops. Very sharp. Very strange. Wonderful.
They flow down the Hudson and wash up on the shores of Governors Island.
